We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule work, issue invoices and communicate about your plastering project. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Disclosure
We may disclose information to subcontractors assisting on your project, insurers where claims are involved, and regulators when legally required. Builders who contract us may receive project-related correspondence where you are the property owner.
Storage and Security
Information is stored on secure business systems at our Mount Waverley office and cloud services used for email and file storage. We take reasonable steps to protect data from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Your Rights
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold by emailing support@canperty.com.au. Complaints may be lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Marketing Communications
We do not send unsolicited marketing email to enquiry contacts. Follow-up messages relate to quotes you requested or projects we performed. You may opt out of non-essential project updates by email request.
Data Retention
Quote records and project correspondence are retained for seven years for tax, warranty and dispute resolution purposes unless a shorter period is agreed. Plans and photos may be archived with project files and deleted on request where no active contract exists.
Overseas Disclosure
We do not routinely disclose personal information overseas. Cloud email or storage providers may process data on Australian or overseas servers under their privacy terms — we select reputable business providers with security commitments.
Children
Our services and website are directed at adults contracting building work. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Anonymous Enquiries
You may enquire by phone without providing email. If you choose anonymity for initial discussion, follow-up quotes require contact details for written scope and tax invoicing where applicable.
