These Terms govern use of the Canperty Pty Ltd website and general engagement for plastering services. By using this site you agree to these Terms.
Website Use
Content is provided for general information about our plastering services. It is not professional advice. Specifications on your project supersede website descriptions.
Quotes and Contracts
Quotes are valid for the period stated and based on information supplied. Formal work is governed by written quote acceptance or subcontract terms with your builder. Variations require written agreement.
Standards
Work is performed to agreed specifications and AS/NZS 2589 where applicable. Finish levels must be nominated in writing. Disputes about finish are assessed against nominated levels and viewing conditions in the standard.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on quotes and invoices. Late payment may incur interest and suspension of work as permitted by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing defective work or the contract value for the affected scope. We are not liable for consequential loss from delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property
Site content, logos and images are owned by Canperty Pty Ltd. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
Governing Law
Victorian law applies. Disputes are subject to Victorian courts.
Warranties
Workmanship warranties, if offered, are stated on quotes and invoices. Manufacturer warranties on board and compound products pass through to clients as permitted by supplier terms. Website content does not extend warranty beyond written quote terms.
Subcontractors
Canperty may engage specialist subcontractors for portions of large programmes. Subcontractors are required to comply with site safety and quality standards consistent with our quotes. Builders contracting us directly remain our primary contractual counterparty unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Site Access and Safety
Clients and builders must provide safe site access, induction compliance and coordination with other trades. Delays from unsafe or inaccessible sites are not our responsibility. Hazardous material discovery (asbestos, lead) requires work stoppage until assessed by licensed specialists.
