Under AS/NZS 2589, Level 4 is the standard paint-ready set for matt and low-sheen paint in normal light. Level 5 adds a full skim coat for gloss paint, dark colours or rooms with raking light from skylights and large windows. Open-plan ceilings often warrant Level 5 even when walls remain Level 4.
Yes. We quote repair scope after the moisture source is corrected and framing is verified dry. Work includes board replacement in affected zones, MR board in wet areas where required, and blending to existing Level 4 or Level 5 finishes for painter handover.
